Michael Jordan

Michael Jeffery Jordan was born on February 17, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York. He moved to North Carolina as a young kid and played basketball, football, and baseball.  He didn’t make the varsity team his Sophmore year and was determined to make it.  He Grew 4 inches and made it.  He received a basketball scholarship to the University of North Carolina. He was named ACC freshman of the year and had a great college basketball career.  He was the 3rd pick in the 1st round by the Chicago Bulls.  He played with the Bulls from 1984-1998 and retired twice in between that time.  He played with the Washington wizards from 2001-2003 and retired his last time. He won 6 NBA championship’s and is considered one of the greatest basketball players ever.
